Update

I've finally met with all my experts for the panel. I haven't been on here in a while to update it so that's horrible of me. I have started my mark ups for the prototype. Together with the panel experts, the research we have decided on a brochure/book dealing with the issue that the blood bank can give to gay males. Also I am looking into stickers for donors who are donating in the place of a gay male as well as a widget for online postings.

Let it do it's thing.

It reminds me to stick to something.

Research

Lately I have been collecting printed materials from the Blood Center of the Pacific and UCSF's blood bank. I'm noticing the more and more things I pick up or the more reading I do in the library of articles, the more this paper for me is turning into an argumentative paper rather than a research paper. I need to get back on track.

Panel of experts, check.
Timeline done.

Got to work on the PERT / GANT chart.

Problem and Purpose Statement

I have finalized the P&P statements. I feel strong about it. It is an issue that effects many members of the LGBT community. Many of us don't know why we're not allowed to donate we just know we can't.

Problem Statement: Due to decreasing levels of blood donation in San Francisco, Blood
Center of the Pacific needs to inform members of the LGBT of the conditions for donors.

Purpose Statement: The purpose of this study was to research and develop information
to educate members of the LGBT community.

I'm optimistic right now even though I know it's going to get more hectic. Here we go to design the timeline.

Creative thoughts run through me!

Dai 505

My name is Ryan Nunez and I'm majoring in Industrial Arts at San Francisco State University. Interests include deep sea diving, rock climbing and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. If you believe all of that then you have problems. My true interests is print design. I align myself with offset printing and letterpress.

Things that inspire me most are seeing simplistic design. Something with text and few graphics used interspersed throughout the poster are fine. A graphic designer whom I have great respect for is Paul Rand. I try to align myself with his design motto of simplicity.
